Letter From the Compiler Learning Chasidus has its double challenge: (i) As with every study, there is understanding the logic of the teachings. (ii) However, there is also the additional challenge of understanding the very ‘characters’ of the topic, such as the “Supernal Crown” “Emanations” “Faces” “Finite Permeating Light” “Infinite Circular Light”, etc.. For example, for learning Tractate Baba Basra in the Talmud, what needs to be newly acquired is the Torah’s logic of Real Estate Law. However, the very concept of Real Estate, Partnerships, and Civil Damages, are not foreign to the novice student.
In Chasidic teachings, the very concepts themselves, void of the logic, explanations, and extrapolations, are foreign and abstract to the novice student. The goal of this work is to introduce the novice student to both, the concepts and the logic of Chasidus. Additionally, as in any intellectual works on any topic, there are two approaches. One is of Sharpness, which is called “uprooting mountains and grinding them one against the other”. This format searches to shed the outer layers of the intellect, and to get to its finest abstract spiritual kernel truth of truths.
A second format is, as Rashi puts it, “I have come but to explain the simple meaning of the Scripture.” My goal, is but the latter format. And here again, the goal is to explain the simple meaning of these abstract concepts in a most practical, tangible, and digestible manner. In a way that the reader truly owns it, and can thus, incorporate it into his day-to-day practical living of life. In his personal and business relationships, and in the way he goes about his pursuit of his goals and growth.

Lastly, I want to thank all those who took the time to give me their feedback as I was sending out the individual installments of this mamor. With this I request of each of you readers to as well kindly forward your comments and feedback to ChabadNMiami@gmail.com or WhatsApp/Text 786-423-4436.
With the heartfelt prayer and longing of each and every one of us, that we merit the final redemption through our righteous Moshiach, when we will have the resurrection of ‘those who are dwelling within the earth’, our Rebbe at their head, and we will hear “New Teachings” from his holy mouth, speedily in our days, I remain, Avrohom Aharon HaKohain ben Chana Yom HaHilulah, 3rd of Tamuz, 5786
